This kit turns the camera on and starts the recording from one push of the wired control button. Hold the button again for four seconds and the camera turns off. Perfect for handling red flag sessions/pit lane queues etc. You’re in control of the GoPro from the drivers seat!
 
Default cable length is 2.5m.
 
How it works on each camera:
 
Hero 1 - fully compatible, on and off control
Hero 2 - fully compatible, on and off control
Hero 3 white model - fully compatible, on and off control
Hero 3 black and hero 3+ black model - on and recording from one push of the remote button. You will need to turn the camera off as you do now, from the camera itself.
Hero 3 silver and 3+ silver models - not compatible. 
Important note - the version of your hero 3 is defined by the colour of the ‘3’ on the front. All of them have a silver face plate, it’s the colour of the ‘3’ specifically that will be either white, black or silver.
